Most handheld devices are designed to occupy your time by putting another screen in front of you.
Offscreen is built on a single PCB & turns twenty illuminated buttons and one rotary dial into a light, focus timer, game console, and tiny animation studio. Make and save frame-by-frame animations, choose from 20 ambient light effects, use the grid as a flashlight or Pomodoro timer, or play Simon Says, Whack-a-Mole, Memory, Bomb Squad, Puzzle, and Snake.
No feeds, notifications, or infinite scroll. Just lights, buttons, and plenty to do when you would rather not reach for your phone.
Equal parts toy, tool, and tiny rebellion against screentime.
Twenty buttons. Eleven modes. Zero screens.
The handheld device for occupying time.
Offscreen Beta V1 is a work in progress. As an early tester, you’re getting the first version while a few details are still being finalized and your feedback will help shape what comes next. USB power bank required and not included.

Very well done. It would be a homerun if it had a built-in battery.

It's good, especially as v1, but could use some other things (I think). I think it should be able to have some add-ons you could plug in or that you could change some of the code and add your own games.
