01Are these real products?+
Yes. Everything on this site is a real, functioning object designed by Matty Benedetto, made in small limited runs. When a run sells out, it may not come back.
02Will sold-out items be restocked?+
Runs are limited by design. Some items return, many don't. The product page is the source of truth, and the email list hears about restocks and new drops first.
03What's a pre-order and when will it ship?+
Pre-orders are tied to an upcoming production run. The estimated ship date is on the product page and at checkout. If a run slips, we'll email you rather than leave you guessing.
04How do blind boxes work?+
Items like the Intersection Opener ship as a mystery — you know the product, not which variant you'll pull. No swaps on blind-box pulls. That's the fun part.
05Where do orders ship from?+
Burlington, Vermont, USA. A real person packs every order, Monday through Friday.
06How fast will my order ship?+
In-stock items leave within 1–2 business days. Once shipped, transit usually runs 4–30 business days depending on where you are and how quickly local customs moves.
07Do you ship internationally? Will I owe customs fees?+
Yes, we ship worldwide. Most destinations ship duties-paid (DDP) — the total at checkout is the final total, nothing extra at your door. A small number of destinations ship duties-unpaid, and checkout tells you up front when that applies.
08How do I track my order?+
You'll get a confirmation email when you order and a tracking link the moment it ships. Give tracking 24–48 hours to start updating — carriers are slow to wake up.
09What's your return policy?+
30 days from delivery. Items must be unused, with tags, in original packaging. Email thatwasmadebymatty@gmail.com to start a return and we'll send you a return shipping label. EU customers also have a 14-day no-questions cooling-off period.
10My order arrived damaged or wrong — what do I do?+
Inspect your order when it lands and contact us immediately with a photo. If it's defective, damaged, or the wrong item, we'll make it right.
11Can I exchange an item?+
Fastest path: return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for what you want.
12Can I change my address or cancel after ordering?+
Double-check your address at checkout — once an order ships, rerouting is nearly impossible. If you catch a mistake, email us fast and we'll try to grab it before it leaves Vermont.

15Do you sell wholesale?+
Yes — select MATTY objects are available to retail shops. Reach out through the contact page (or email thatwasmadebymatty@gmail.com with "Wholesale" in the subject) with your shop's name, location, and what you're interested in stocking, and we'll take it from there.
16Do you take on brand collaborations?+
Yes. Custom object design, limited collab drops, and campaign builds are all on the table — Matty has spent years building elaborate one-off objects for exactly this. Send a short brief through the contact page and you'll hear back within 1–2 business days.
