The return window starts when your item arrives. Eligibility and exclusions are detailed below.
What’s eligible
You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Your item must be in the same condition you received it: unworn or unused, with tags and its original packaging. You’ll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.
How to return an item
- Contact us. Email support@thatwasmadebymatty.com with your order number and the item you’d like to return.
- Wait for approval. If your return is accepted, we’ll send a return shipping label and instructions on where to send your package. MATTY covers the return shipping label.
- Send it back. Pack the item securely and follow the instructions we send you. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
- We’ll check it and follow up. Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know whether your refund is approved.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If something is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Items we can’t accept for return
Sale items, gift cards, and custom or personalized orders are not eligible for return. If you’re unsure about a specific item, get in touch before ordering.
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange an item is to request a return and, once it’s accepted, place a separate order for the item you want.
When you’ll receive your refund
If approved, your refund will be sent to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may need additional time to process and post it.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, contact support@thatwasmadebymatty.com.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
